Our Vision                                                                              - Pastors Mike and Christi Brummitt

In January of 2006, God began dealing with our hearts regarding Bethel Assembly of God in Lake Worth. We were deeply connected and very content in our church in Dublin, Virginia. However, God had new direction for our lives. It became evident to us through much prayer, that Bethel was a church in need of a tender transition and huge vision to reach a huge community. God began to speak to our hearts that He wanted to do things at Bethel that no man could do and that we would see miracles and that God would be glorified. This message was humbling to us, and ignited a fire in our hearts to carry out God’s plan for our lives and for Bethel.

It is never easy following a long-term pastor. We have all had our share of difficulties, but God has been gracious and is showing His awesome power as he knits our hearts together in unity so that His will for Bethel might be accomplished. After 18 months of settling in, we are sensing that the hand of God is upon Bethel and He is putting the pieces in place in preparation for what is to come.

We are dreaming of a people who are of many races, cultures and ages who are becoming one in Christ with one mind, one vision and one passion - a unified mighty army who is:

  1. 1.deeply connected with each other in love,

  2. 2.determined to fully surrender to Christ becoming more dependent upon Him daily,

  3. 3.unselfishly willing to lay down their desires for the sake of humbly serving each other, and

  4. 4.determined to reach out to our surrounding communities and world to win every soul possible to Christ before the coming of our Lord.

We can see a multi-site church reaching out to every culture in the surrounding areas.

Our main focus is helping people find hope, and freedom to become everything God intended them to be. We trust that God will provide the recourses that we need to minister to His people as we move forward and obey His commands. We serve a God who is able to do things beyond our wildest imaginations and we are expecting Him to do so. In the mean time, we continue to do our part and remain faithful to what He has given us at this time. In all these things may Christ be glorified!
